Basil-Devotion DMR





DMR means Downy Mildew Resistant! In places where basils are dying from downy mildew this new variety out of Rutgers University is "the real deal" says a trial farmer. Devotion is high yielding, robust and ranked 'high' resistance in field trials. It is a Genovese-type with uniform, upright growth and dome shaped leaves. Works well in a container or in the garden. Basil-Prospera Compact





Glossy-leaf Genovese type with good resistance to downy mildew and fusarium wilt. Productive plants are perfect for repeated tip and leaf harvesting in the home garden.



Basil-Sweet Thai





Spicy anise-clove scent and flavor. Most commonly used in Thai or Vietnamese cooking. Attractive plants are 12-18” tall with medium-green leaves. Stems and blossoms are purple, very good for pot culture.



Bay Laurel





12-36" An evergreen shrub from the Mediterranean, it is a slow grower that is happy to come into your house for the winter. Stiff, shiny deep green leaves are used in soups and stew. Tender perennial



Calendula 'Alpha'





Large (2-3 1/2") bright-orange blooms are beautiful and considered to have strong medicinal qualities with their high resin content. Flowers can be used fresh in salads or anywhere you want to add a splash of sunshine and a little tang. Dried they become 'flower confetti' for soups, grains, or as a dessert garnish. Celery-Afina (Cutting)





Celery for the home garden! Thin stalks that are more aromatic and flavorful than standard celery, so a little goes a long way. It looks like a sturdier clump of Italian parsley. No need to blanch so it's easy to grow just cut back occasionally as younger stalks have best flavor. Great as a garnish or dry the leaves for winter use, necessary ingredient for soups and stews. Grow in full sun and keep well watered.



Chives-Garlic





Perennial. Flat, rather than tubular leaves with a mild garlic flavor. Clusters of star shaped white flowers can also be used as a garnish. Trim back blooms as they can self sow. Popular in Southeast Asian cooking.



Chives-Purly





Wonderful mild onion flavor, these long, thin chives are excellent in many meals great raw or cooked. Lavender flowers.



Cilantro





Popular in Mexican cuisine, this herb is a must for all salsa and chili recipes, delicious and flavorful. Available in Jumbo 6 packs or 3 1/2" pots



Dill-Dukat





Here is why we love Dukat Dill: Dukat is later to flower than other varieties. This means you can harvest the foliage longer in the season. It has a particularly sweet flavor both fresh and dried. The seed head is 10". Annual. Anthum graveolens 'Dukat'

Rosemary-Upright





One of the most prolific of the large leafed varieties. Beautiful, spacious upright rosemary. Also known as skewer rosemary since it is used for flavorful barbecue skewers.



Sage-White





Large soft slivery-white lance shaped leaves are used as a 'smudging sage'. Loves heat and drought. This plant is native to Southern California, but may over winter indoors with the right soil(sandy) and sun exposure. Will need leaves to make it through the winter. Can grow to 4 '.
